hmm.. odd. only ever see one "flat red" 04/5 for sale around town, it was at autos4less for a while. There aren't many in that color, since i think only 04/5 came in flat red. (02/3 were metallic darker red, and 06/7 darker too.)

IMS FTW. On IMS I am "The Poop Smith" (My office is at a wastewater treatment facility). It does look like they took off the for sale sign on the STi. They are still listing it as new.

Oh, its still "new". just 2 years old.
They'll be lucky of they could get $30k for it. No one will pay $38k for an 08 when they can pay $38 for a '10. Someone just needs to offer them like $27 or something and get them to accept it. They already realize, i'm sure, that they're going to take a huge loss on it. Happens sometimes with cars.

As for IMS, dear lord has it been slow lately. I sign in like 3 days apart, and not a single new post in half the forums...

The tires are cracked and weathered, I shudder to think about the rest of the rubber (hoses). I have a feeling it hasn't been properly taken care of for sitting around with limited travel for two years. They would be lucky to get $28k from an educated buyer. I could see them handing it over to a high school grad in the sprind for "only" $33k, $5k off!

IMS has been slow.

Well, I am heading to Boise this weekend to cheer on the Vandals. Next weekend the sister is visiting. T-Giving weekend would be the next semi-open one...

Hey all, I have a set of 4 studless snowtires that I got from a friend that I thought would work on my WRX, but found out they are too tall. They are Hankook Icebear 225/50R17's. They were bought brand new last November and taken off in April. I know they are an odd size for the WRX, but if anybody has a use for them let me know. I'm asking $400 for the set. PM me, text or call 208-589-3103

I'm surprised they didn't fit. I stuck my snows on last night, they're 225/45/17's. Lots of clearance to the strut lower spring perch and whatnot...
If you're still having problems hosting pics, just txt em to me and i can host em for ya.
here's the first one:

TRUE THAT!

after getting my tranny put back together, in the car and driving down the road with the new clutch and all new bushings throughout, i had a huge sigh of relief. then another sigh of relief that i was able to help out an idaho buddy with some of the extra gears and misc. tranny parts i had so that his tranny could get rebuilt and be back on road. i love how easy these cars are to work on, well the 02/03 model at least, not to familiar with 04+ but i assume they arent that much different.

hehe. this is subaru you're talkin about. :P

Almost everything bolts onto/into everything else. Thats the best part. They're like Lego cars.
Want new brakes? bolt em on. New motor? bolt it in. Newer dash? still works... Usually very little if any fabbing needed to install anything.

yeah thats what i was thinking, well i got another sigh of relief when i got my 5 wing stablizers in, they went in all funky at first. but all i had to do really was hook em up to the CNC and slot the holes, now they fit a little better, i think i will try to make a prototype for a new wing stabalizer that would enable you to install 5 easier. perrins stiffies work, but they arent "exact" fit, they need a method of adjusting or eliminating the gaps. im thinking 2 ideas, i will CNC an adjustable wing stiffy with a peg system to ease the install, and i am thinking molding some rubber/urethane top and bottom so if its tight they squish and if there is a gap they dont squish, therefore eliminating gaps hope to have it figured out in the next few months of trial/error. BTW 5 stiffies looks freakin awsome, especially black on white.

Spotted a WRB '04 STi at Big O Tires on Northgate. I've seen it a few times so I assume they work there. Anyone know who it is?
