Question cosmo racing CAI ??? whats the opinions

well i have a 09 2.5i and i came across a cai for the non turbos just wondering what everyone thinks cause i have never heard of this company before ( unlike aem , perrin , k&n ect ect ) Cosmo Racing makes a cai and a sri for my car whats your opinions ??

Eh, it's like any other CAI really. I don't believe in putting an intake on an untuned car. They might make a difference if you have cams, a full exhaust, ect. ect. But alone, they won't make a difference really. If anything, you'll probably feel a loss of low end power which will be very annoying and a slight gain of high end.

My opinion is that you just make your own intake custom. It's really easy and way cheaper. Just keep all the oem stuff in case you want to revert back.

not to be to mean, but there's a couple threads on this already. read the stick about hybrid intakes because there is plenty of argument over this (you may have already read it). make an educated decision.

Cosmo Racing CAI's are ok. Mine needed slight modification (cutting) because it was hitting the pitch stop mount on the firewall. And definitely replace the air filter as soon as you get it because the one that comes with it is garbage.

But I have seen different dyno graphs comparing different intakes and to my surprise there were a few differences between a few companies, so keep that in mind as well.
