hmm i updated my mod list above.

so i guess i gotta put my car on a more strict diet when i go to the track.. i can see about 40 pounds that can be removed if i took speakers and radio out approx.. all the bs in my glove box and center console.. maybe if i got one of those subframes that weight less then half like i believe perrin sells.. other then that i dont know where i could get almost 200 pounds to get down to xdrians weight.

well my 07 WRX TR seats have side airbags and they weight 70lbs so it will be really close to 120 lbs , I didn't think about the 04 WRX seats .

I just cant wait until you play with a better octane man. Let me know next time you go out on a weekend, if I have time I'd like to travel down to atco to see you break into 11's.

I dont think your going to like going to a header on the vf. I gain much more spool by going back to my stocker.

Yeah, the header is great on the vf. If people nay say it, they were not tuned correctly, or they baught shhit.

The header will not make much power, but it will help you hold more power out to redline, and thats what you need for a pump gas 11.

I had the gruppe-s uel, its a great header, but I had more spool going back to the stock one. It holds in more heat.

^^ i sometimes think of going back to a stock header (too bad mine got thrown in the trash.....mom cleaned out the garage one day n away she went....FML) but i have an extra UEL header to throw on with my new turbo. i have one of those ebay all in one headers with the catless up-pipe attached.

people have deff made considerably more torque in the low end (especially on 2.0s). the thought runs thru my mind but im always like ehhhhh F it lol. the exhaust note is considerably more throaty and raspy with aftermarket UEL's for sure (i couldnt sneak up on anything if i tried lmao) even doing below 40mph.

but, its give n take, what can ya do.

welllll... it was an ok outing tonite. clutch didnt like the somewhat 12 runs in 2 hours... it slipped insane the last run in second and third so i gave up and limped down the track to a 16.
i was trapping 116-117.8 all nite, even with bogged launches or too much slip of the clutch launching. fastest time was a 12.09 and slowest was 12.5. ill gather all the slips tomorrow and post up the results, i was pissed when i got home as i hope i didnt screw the new clutch up.

well i went back to atco last nite to try and better my 12.08 pass from earlier in spring. well since then ive added my perrin header and fixed a couple exhaust leaks plus a crack in my up pipe where the ewg flange comes off the up. o and i also upgraded the clutch to a spec stage 1 with a act streetlite flywheel.

well it was a really weird nite at the track seeing that there was barely any cars.. you could basically just drive right back to the line after getting back to the lanes. apparently my clutch didnt like me testing it out last nite plus getting 12 passes in about 3 hours. i put 800 miles on the clutch before last nite so i figured that was enough break in time. i just couldnt get the launch just right like i did on the stock setup. my best 60' of the nite was a 1.77, the average was 1.8-1.9. my 12.08 i cut a 1.69 60'... i think if i can pull a 60' like that im well into 11s..

anyhow on to the passes, they ranged from 12.5 to the fastest of the nite 12.099. my traps were between 116 to 117.7.

here are those two slips.....

Awesome pass! It irritates me seeing people nay-slay a run thinking its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to run certain times, good video to back the run up! Hope to see you run better in the future!
