im glad to see that i gained 3 mph from the spring. yea it def is harder with the lighter fw. i think if i had a stocker launching would have been soooo much easier. o well. i know the car has 11s in it the way it is, just gonna be a while till that happens. thanks the house has a huge garage so the car will hibernate for a bit...

Even on C16 that is just rediculous. Im tellin u man, if I can go 12.01 @ 112.8, you can go 11.50's-11.60's. @ almost 118, the car def has it in it.
Good luck and keep trying (1.69=impressive for a 2ltr )

wow, this car is impressive! 117 with a vf34 is just awesome. I guess I dont have to switch to an 18g (I have similar mods as you).

I want to see this car run on meth or something.

this car is really strong, specially at top, 29mph on the back is crazy for 93oct or even race gas.

Did you weight the car? is the turbo ported or something? Any meth or nitro?

Your car is just sick

This car would honestly trap 119.5-120 with a vf39/22 and racegas. Just my personal opinion.

My question is why and how? The traps speed on 1/8ths are weak in contrast to the 1/4th traps. 93oct + VF34 + full weight does not equal to that kind of trap speeds.

Is the track below sea level?
there is something missing..............

Its interesting you pointed that out. That 330, 1/8th, and the mph are weak (well, not weak, but where they should be fro a well tuned vf wrx)

In this case, by numbers, the 117-118 is justified. At the same track, trapping 112 I went from the 1000ft to the 1/4 in .2 seconds. At 117+, its taking Karl from the 1000ft to the 1/4 in .15 seconds. That is a substancial difference in which at least 5 mph is needed.

i never said the car was full weight. it weighed 28xx id have to look back in xdrian's fastest/quickest thread to find what the weight was again.

and how would a vf39 get me higher traps? the 34 is bigger then the 39?

you get a good clutch, drag radials on 15's and launch control and you'll see 1.4 60 ft.'s.

you need to build boost at the line...stabbin it isn't helping you.

I should have just said vf22. Back in the day gruppe s rated the 39 as a 35lb/min turbo and a vf34 as a 32lb/min turbo (on their website).

Now it shows the vf34 and the vf48 as a 32lb/min turbo. Sorry for the mislead.

Karl, are you the first owner of your VF34? Has it been modified at all, except for the EWG? Hope my questions aren't misconstrued, I'm a huge fan of your setup, just trying to figure out what is the biggest contributor to the top end pull.
