Default FS: JDM 5 speed tranny (southeastern ME) Price lowered

It is a 5 speed manual transmission from a 1997 JDM WRX wagon. The numbers off the case are TY752VBCBA. It supposedly had around 60,000km, and I have no reason to think it doesn't. I'm looking to get $1000 for it +shipping or best offer.

There is one catch though. I just noticed this. Let me try and describe it.
When you pull the transmission, you'll notice that there are bunch of holes where the tranny is bolted to the block. There are also non-threaded studs on the block that line up with holes on the tranny. These studs just hold the tranny from twisting on the block along with the bolts. One of these holes that lines up with the studs chipped on the outer edge. This does not affect the seal of block to tranny(it's not really a seal anyway, just a flat mating surface). I assume that it chipped when I pulled the tranny. I personally wouldn't be worried about it since it is one of many and it is not a threaded stud, but you should probably come look at it. If I don't sell this, I'm probably going to convert it a FWD tranny and use axle adapters and use it for my project (it's been done).

I bought it connected to an ej20g and I only need the motor, intercooler and wiring harness, which I will be putting in a Porsche 914. so, I also have the starter, front axles, clutch, flywheel and misc. other bits to get out of my place. Tell me what you want and it'll go with the transmission.

I had it shipped to me via Fedex freight and it seemed very reasonable, but pickup is encouraged. I will do my best to work with someone about getting it to you. I live in Kittery, Maine. I can cut a deal if someone is willing to come pick it up.

Here is the chip.

Here is the stud on the motor that lines up with the chip

Now that my friend is a question for someone more knowledgable in subaru transmissions than I. Anyone???

I had an '05 WRX and sold it before I broke anything major. Now I'm just fooling around with Porsches. I'm sure if you ask that in the drivetrain thread, you'll get a ton of responses.

Good luck!

I may be interested if my 6 speed tranny deal falls through. Get the numbers on it then we can talk. It will be for my swapped RS. I assume you never installed it and it is only the trans with no other parts and in full normal operating condition? PM me. Thanks!

All are included. I'll throw in a flywheel if you'll take it.

Quick disclaimer: I got this info off a website so I am not positive it is correct. I have no reason to believe it isn't though.

This looks to be a pull clutch and I for some reason think that they went to push style in 07.
