Default Weird boost issue, tunning issue or something broken?

Car has been running fine for years, recently something weird started happening. When I gun it, the car runs fine until I hit around 8-9lbs of boost and roughly around 3700rpm, then as boost climbs after that, my car feels like it makes no power, and almost like it's making less power. My cobb AP, and my boost gauge both show that I'm boosting around 18 psi, but car makes no additional power unless I let off the gas and the boost goes down. If I slowly ramp up to speed, and then gun it around 4600RPM it boosts until redline fine, there is literally a range between 3500-4600 ish to where the car is just not liking what's going on. I need to go data log some stuff, but has anyone else had an issue like this, or anyone know what may potentially cause something like this to happen?

A datalog and mod list might help.

I'd think it'd be anything BUT the tune since you've ran on that tune for years without issue.

That's pretty much it in regards to the engine, just replaced coilpack in cylinder 1 along with spark plugs due to a bad coilpack, but issue was happening before the coilpack went out. The statement about the tune was more about engine components falling out of spec over time and maybe the tune needs to be redone to compensate. I'll do some data logging this week with the standards

Load, tps, boost, target boost, timing, openloop sw, rpm, knock. Thinking I should try and log my AF values as well, just not sure which ones. Any other suggestions or help would be appreciated.

First step, clear your ECU. I bet something has convinced the mice in the computer to retard your timing back.
I actually had this happen to me yesterday. Car has been doing fine since I bought it, then I drove from LA to Fallon, NV (about 8 hrs). I drove fairly easy the whole way, turned on the AC and set the cruise control and drove. When I finally passed the NV border (and, therefore, got past Cali Law Enforcement, I hit the gas to go blasting through the canyons, and the car just felt like ****. Boost was slow to climb, car felt weak, but no CEL or anything, just didn't want to go.
I pulled over, check for anything popped off, then hit the road again. Still felt like crap, so I pulled over again, did a Vishnu ECU reset, and the problem was gone. Car went back to its old self, drove fine since. I would still check some datalogs though, just in case something else is wrong.

ecu was cleared after the spark plug and coil pack replacement to get rid of the misfire CEL. Still busted, I'll do some data logging this week, and see what everything looks like.

I logged some data tonight and to me it looks like my fuel delivery is ****ed somewhere. I'm not seeing my AFRs come down to where they should be. I'm going to start trying to narrow it down, but most of the parts are not carried by the local autopart stores. Anyone got an extra MAF for an 06, I can borrow to test with? Also, looking for fuel filter, and o2 sensors if anyone has any of those lying around they want to part with.

swapped out my ebcs, that's not it, I still believe the issue is with fuel delivery. I pulled out my fuel pump assembly, but was unable to get the screw loose that blocks the fuel filter from coming out. Might just trade the car in since it has so many miles, but I'd really like to get it figured out without spending any money.

After 65000 miles running Az gas my fuel filter was nasty and flow was restricted. Just move it up front where the 04s had them and pick up a filter almost anywhere. Id try that if its never been changed. Dont forget to flair the hardlines on the tank assembly if you dont want to pull it all apart again to fix a hose that blew off.

WGDC is wrong in the tuning. Set too low or high at that 9psi mark just making more spool pointless.

What's your wgdc at around 3700 rpm @ WOT?
