So the MR Touring adds on 200+ pounds. This thing needs to shave some weight. It does look nicer with those add on's though....

I didn't realize that having an antenna sticking out of the roof is a selling point.

Evidently this is one of the first things that Evo X owners swap out. I do remember reading the the MR is going to come in two configurations, with leather and without.

I want to see the new color. It looks good without the wing in the picture, but for the love of ****'s sake, STOP ADDING WEIGHT TO THE CAR!!! I can live without literally every single thing they mentioned.

Having a 5" antenna sticking out of the roof is ugly and stupid. A 3" antenna, on the other hand, is 'sick'.

Simply put the factory antenna on the new 2008 Subarus is way too long and unattractive. Eliminate the radio controlled car look with a shorty mast from PERRIN™. Available in either 2” or 3” sizes, these all-aluminum antennas look great thanks to an anodized, black finish. No adapters are required.

Anyone else remember when a 12" fuba antenna was the epitome of cool?

Agreed. I'm not totally sure who Mitsubishi is trying to market to. If you are looking at the Evo for the incredible performance potential then the added weight, stereo and so fourth will just turn you off.

If you want a nice leather/chrome interior with gadgets and so fourth who the hell thinks of Mitsubishi? BMW, Audi, MB...those are the brand I'd consider.

Bluetooth is cool though I love that in my STI (aftermarket)

Poor man's GTR? EVO IX FTW - I drove a RR IX MR right after they had stopped building them. Reminded me of the STi but sharper and peakier in stock form (really really fun) - and dealer was willing to go 3K under MSRP. Wife wouldn't let me buy it. I am truly a castrated version of my former self.

I'm surprised that this many posts later, no one has questioned if there would be a hp/torque bump...

Anyway, the '10 is looking nice, but I think there's an overseas model geared more toward nicer amenities that this is pretty similar to. I just forget what it's called.

I doubt there will be an increase in power. Just speculation though...

I believe there is no planed jump in power. Just some different model offerings and option packages.

^ Well, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. Not that I disagree with you guys or anything, but I always figured Mitsu would do it after two model years, like how the '05 Evos got a 5 hp and 13 lb.-ft bump over the '03 and '04 then another one in '06. Long before the Evo X was released, the 4B11 was expected by publications to put down as much as 320 hp in factory trim (look in your older issues of R&T if you still have them), so I'd say that there's plenty of hp waiting to be exploited, even bone stock off the showroom floor, if Mitsu allows it. It runs stupid rich as it is, even more so than the VIIIs and IXs did.
