Default airbag light

the airbag light in my gauge cluster has been on ever since i took out my clock in the clock pod to replace it with a hidden display for my valentine one radar detector. its an 07 WRX, is the airbag light on because the clock also had a passenger airbag indicator light and i removed it? anybody else get this light when taking out their clock? and what do i do to get rid of it?

plug the clock back in and stuff it in your dash. your airbag light will go off.

Yes the light is on because you removed the clock. Take the clock off its mount plug it back in. SPLICE into the wiring for your gauges or whatever. Neatly tuck the clock behind the dash (there is plenty of room in that hole)...

problem is i traded my clock plus cash for the valentine and the remote display
any other way to get it off besides buying a new clock to just shove down in my dash for no reason?

Nope you need to have the original pod. Should have done your homework here before just pulling it out and selling it.
