Default STU(X) Koni Bumpstops

Those running ZZYZX or Ground Control Konis, Did ya cut the stops (or run any at all)?

I run ground controls and don't run any bumpstops in the front and full size ones in the rear. My springs will fully compress before my struts bottom out.

Hmm, there seems to be a pattern there... <grin>

I assume everyone's springs are pretty stiff to start with and figure you'd just let the coils bind, assuming you could put enough load on them to do that...

I think I'm in the same ballpark then...

Yeah, I bet you do.. 295 Hoosiers will do that.. Whitmire's car had 1050's up front (no bar). I have 600's on ST rubber.

450/500 lb/in springs, 13.6" ride height. I cut the bumpstops a little bit based on Scooby921's experiences last year - he cut off the top nub on his and was able to run lower with better ride quality. I drive the car on the street for probably 10K miles a year so I wasn't willing to go no bumpstop - I have Hypercos so they have a lot of travel before binding.
