Default Ludespeed kit with wrx intercooler+INJEN CAI

Tom's is the man! The stage II kit really kicks some serious @ss! I never thought running 6 psi would make my01 rs pull this hard. The car is really fun to drive and the stock wrx bov sounds pretty nice! I'm getting the greddy bov soon but I'm happy with the kit stock bov for now.

Thanks Tom for the pretty setup. Best customer service I ever had from a vendor. Thw wrx intercooler was modified a little and I'm glad it came out this way. The parallel fuel thing must be working good because I haven't had any detonation after I drove off the shop. I don't know how fast it is at the track but it feels faster than my buddies wrx running 13.5 1/4 mile.

Here's some pics if anybody is interested.

KillerTHC, I'm using the stock ecu. I can't afford a standalone yet so J&S II will have to do for now.

Graham, I live near UCF and I'm near sandlake many times. Give me a shout and I'll let u check it out.

I want that intake! that looks sweet man. It just fitted perfectly like that? What car is the intake originally for. I am currently looking for an aftermarket intake to rig onto my ludespeed kit.

I bought this intake a few months ago for the my01 RS.
This intake was made to fit our cars. It is a 2 piece intake and
I just used the part that went into the fender. I still have the piece that goes to the throttle body. I bought it at racing zone here in Orlando. It cost me $220. There's a few RS owner in i-club that owns one. Even before the turbo this intake made some serious power.

I'm usually driving around sandlake and john young parkway
at saturday nights between 10-2am hanging around and sometimes I drive past sonics on I drive. I can meet near there on saturdays if anybody wants to see it.

Man...It seems like this kit gets faster and faster as I drive it. I don't even have the need to up the boost. I gave my buddy a ride today and he's used to riding in vw gti vr6 with a jackson supercharger that dynoed at 295hp and he said my car would smoke it. Pretty crazy how turbo can really make our cars fast.

Default Intercooler fit

Imprezha,

Do you know how they made the IC fit? I was under the impression that the WRX IC will not fit on the 2.5RS because of interference with the firewall. Did you get a modified Throttle Body? or intake manifold?

Looks really nice,
Jens.

Hey what's up guys!
Hey waht's up Brad, that guy moved backed to Cali to get his business going. So I decided not to do anything and maybe do a supercharger from templar or a wrx engine swap. I was gonna get a wrx engine and tranny for $4500. Awesome deal but with labor that was overkill. Anyways, my friend got his kit from Ludespeed and I wrote in another impreza with a kit from Tom so I decided to go with Tom. He really knows his stuff. Anyways, how's your kit doing?

Yo kevin what's up! Man I tried calling you but your phone number is not working man. Did you get subie back? Give me another call and give me your new number man.

Oh...The wrx intercooler is a very tight fit. You can eaither take the trottle body off or really put some muscle into but it fits. Tom said he didn't have to take the throttle body off.

If you want to talk to Tom about any questions his website is
www.ludespeed.com and his number is there. Tell him that Hoon
sent you you.

were there any other modifications to get the wrx intercooler to fit in there?, or did you just have to push it in?

What's up my apexkw brother!

I hope you can come up this weekend! It will be cool to see Andy b!tch after he see my tail lights. at the end. That will be so funny!Man Last night racing ferraris and lightings was fun.
I was slowly passing that ferrari but Harrison was saying he might not have been pushing his car. It would have been cool if
I could have caught the ferrari at a light but slowly passing that lightning on the last race was pretty cool! That lightning has some pull in the lower gears but it slows down once they reach around 80mph. I can't believe we didn't get any tickets. That was some luck!

Harrison was telling me that you might get an rx7. That would be a killer and we would have so much fun. So how is everything down there anyways?

Well later bro!

akcel,

Hey the wrx intercooler has two opening but Tom sealed it and put one big opening in it. The intercooler stays pretty cool at night
after a little hard driving but still being easy on the tranny. The intercooler fits good. You don't have to take out anything. It fits fine.
