Default Possibly sell my RS

Not sure yet, but I might have to sell my RS.
Not that I want to but for financial reasons this might have to happen.
The car is getting 90% of it repainted, due to vandalism, and will look very sharp when done.
Here are some fairly current pics before my car got keyed.
Should look pretty good when I get it back.
Any intrest or thought on what I may be able to get for it?

How this comes to be is to which car that I have can I lose the least on.
I have a 94 Saturn SC2 that in the past 18 months we have put about 5 grand into, rebuilt engine, new starter, new alt
new tires all the way around. The car is in perfect shape but is only worth 4 maybe 5 thousand. We do own this car outright.
If I could get between 5-6,000 for it I would sell it but that will not happen. So it looks like the Impreza will have to be sold since we still owe money on it. That would get rid of the monthly car payments.

Also pretty willing to bring the car to Anchorage if there is serious intrest in it.

I am not sure what the retail is but ahm sure there are buyers out there. I have heard of people's comments of wanting to buy an older body style RS so that they could put a turbo on it but according to a salesperson at Continental Subaru, the older RS is a good seller. I don't know if you're mods will add a better sale price to it.

Yeah mods will not be your selling point, Shawn. That car is beautiful and has obviously been taken care of, so that's the angle. Sell it privately, whatever you do!

There's somebody in Fairbanks who will pay a good price for that car and appreciate it all the same.

Well I do not think that the mods that I have done will make a difference in price, but I do hope that it makes a difference in selling it. I was thinking of trying to get $16,500 or a resonable offer on it.
I do still have the sedan spoiler and an extra set of tires for it.
If any one has question please email me at

or

using the pm feature here is good to
Thanks

Well I just got the car back from the body shop yesterday.
It looks great.
The possiblity of selling the car all depends on my job situation in the next couple of months, also on if the wife will allow the car to be sold.
After having this work work done, it will be a lot harder to want to sell. But if it has to be done then that is what I will do.

The car is well equipped will the standard stuff
sunroof
cd/cassete player
4wheel disc brakes
A/c
power windows and locks
It also has an auto trans
I have in stall a Ganz coldair intake
and KVR cross drilled brake rotors
The car has at this time 46.100 miles on it

Thanks
Shawn

Ok, thanks for the info...I'll pass it on.

She's not looking to buy for another month or two anyhow, so no biggie...
