My cars, in order of appearance:

1972 Fiat 850 Spyder (used)- my 1st car! *sniff*
1978 Fiat 128 2 door sedan (new)- much better in the winter than the 850 - more room too!
1979 Fiat 128 hatchback (new)- this is the car that started the "sporty hatch" fad of the 70s & 80s. The Accord and Scriocco are copies of this car. Started my Auto-X career in this - with 145/80-13 tires!

(All cars from here on were/are co-owned & driven by my wife and me)

1979 Honda Accord hatchback (new)
1982 Subaru BRAT (w/tonneau & cap) (used)
1974 Porsche 914 2.0 (used)- very under-rated car.
1985 Chevy S-10 Blazer (new)- 4 cyl, stick shift - JUNK!!! A lemon. Broke down the 1st day I had it! Nice design - lousy execution.
1984 Subaru BRAT (used)- with cap - wish I still had it. This is the car I would get for my 17 year old daughter if I could.
1984 Subaru GL wagon (used)- replaced piece 'o crap Blazer (see above)
1986 Nissan Stanza 4WD wagon (used) - kind of a mini-minvan with sliding rear doors on both sides - 'way ahead of it's time.
1990 Subaru Justy GL (new)- fun car!
1976 Ford Econoline Van (used)- bought it for $150 as my mobile DJ hauler
1994 Toyota 4x4 truck (new)- daily driver/DJ hauler to replace both the Justy and Ford van.
1993 Ford Aerostar AWD van (new)- Currently owned. Yes, it's a minivan, but it's very good at what it does - move my whole family of four and all our stuff around - including two trips to Montana. Decent power from the 4.0 V6.
2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS (current)
2002 Subaru Forester L (current)

2. 1990 Mazda Protege...this car will not die. ever. i'm serious.

3. 2002 Acura RSX Type-S...someone graduated college! and now it's being sold so i can go back. <sigh>

1st car was a 1985 Chevy S-10 Blazer...but that doesn't really count 'cause I broke my leg and couldn't drive it...so we sold it.

My REAL first car was a 1972 MG Midget. British Racing Green. Beautiful car but not exactly a power house (75hp) but very very light (1700 lbs).

I was soooooo sad to sell it, but I had to. I turned people down who wanted to buy it...I was totally picky.

It's now in SF with a rebuilt motor, weber carbs and a Datsun tranny.

My first car was a 1987 Chevy Cavalier Z24 that I got for $2500 in 1992.

So you'll never see me bashing anyone for driving a Cavalier
