Default 2009 WRX with an 08/08 build date

Hi everyone-
I understand that some WRX's with 07/08-09/09 build dates have encountered engine failure issues. I found an 09 hatch Premium hatch (built 08/08) with 124 miles on it (being sold as new). They have it priced at 24,888. Not sure if I want to risk buying a car with an engine that may crap out on me. Even though it would be covered under warranty, it would be a pain to deal with. Any thoughts? Should I have this trepidation?

Get something 10/08 or later. Why risk it? you can buy the 09 for $25k all day anyway.

My 8/08 build date blew at 5,300 miles. Spun #4 rod bearing.
