Default Fog lights stopped working

I went out this morning and did a walk around the car and noticed that the fog lights on my '04 wagon stopped working. Replaced both bulbs about a month ago so don't think that is the problem. I called underneath and all connections seem to be sound. I realize this is a really dumb question and sorry to waste everyone's time, but do you have any troubleshooting ideas? Blown fuse? Something else? Sorry I have no clue when it comes to electrical issues...

Check bulbs, fuse, connections, then relay. In that order, good luck!

Agreed, could also be a bad switch too.

Also of note in case you are not aware of it the fogs do not work in certain positions of the headlight switch. I think if the high beams are on then the fogs will not work.

yeah definitely not the high beams, i thought of that as well. Not the bulbs or the connections now just have to check the fuse and relay...if I can figure out where the relay is! Hoping to find something in the owners manual.

Its inside the car behind the coin tray on the right side of the fuses. I think its the 3rd one down.

Yea if none of those are bad its prob the switch and if not that you most likely pinched/shorted a wire somewhere inbetween. Any recent mods that you noticed this start happening after?

Now that you mention it actually, yes, well not mods, but an incident a few weeks ago. I guess it would have been helpful to mention this...I got home and heard a scraping noise of plastic on pavement. It was covering that is under the car had come loose and was dragging on the ground. (Plastic cover that starts behind the wheel and ends at front bumper) Maybe it pinched the wire when it was flapping around in the wind. One of the fasteners had come loose which caused it to droop down. If that is the case is it something I could fix or would it have to be rewired?
