AL, is the AEM capable of controlling the dual-AVCS on 08+ STi?

So how does this boost and whp compare to the EVOs running the HTA86 w/ equivalent hot side? Wondering how close you are to "4g63 efficiency" with the GSC cams and cosi manifold.

The car was never finished as far as tuning goes as I was mostly just interested in seeing what kind of numbers it would make on the dyno

We wanted to make 700 whp and after that I was not interested in spending time to refine the smoothness

I am mostly interested on tuning it on the road as that is where I drive

Bro - we are on the same page and thinking alike. I want to see the M coupe race from a dig as it has zero traction, by the time he finshes a 2.1 60' time I will be about 4 cars ahead of him. lol

Hey Al have you ever been fishing? When I go fishing for Blue Fish I set the drag.. Let the fish bite hook and take off letting them think they got away.. and then I set the drag... You can take off 3-4 cars, but I can guarantee you I will set the drag and cut your balls off at the 1/8 mile.

Thats insane. Well done as usual.

at the long videos...

Its impressive to see you maintain an aproximate 3 bro per minute rate through the whole 9 minutes.

I have no idea as our car is not yet operational. With all the customer cars here our vehicles are dead last.

When I get it working I will give an update.

I am curious how the DBW action works on the Vpro as the stock ecu seems to control the DBW.

The Hydra is challenging to tune but its a great box and runs like a swiss watch. No bugs or clitches its a great unit.

I prefer the AEM for my own car as it takes me about 20 minutes to tune it from soup to nuts. I have a lot of experience on the aem and the boost comp and data logging are top notch and I like the ease of the launch control and no lift shift.

Frankly they are both great units with great features and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

On the Evo the AEM box frankly does not run or "feel" as smooth as the hydra. The Evo Hydra box is one of the best running evo ecus.

Al, is this car dyno tuned only, or did you do road tuning as well?

Any chance of posting a road log showing boost, timing and afr?

This would put his tuning and his dynojet numbers into perspective. I echo this request. DO IT.
