Default 11,000 miles and finally my suby need a doctor

Parking lights will not turn off, alarm light stay on blinking even when is not alarmed, and today the low gas sign came on at a 1/4 tank.

I have been disconnecting the battery when I am not driving so I can avoid draining out the battery.

Electrical problem?

I have been trying to call my service dept in annapolis, MD for the last 3hrs, but no one is picking up.

Has anyone experienced this type of broblem with their car?

Thanks

This sounds frighteningly like it's a case of RTFM. I'd bet that the alarm is in Valet mode (which you can disable by a combination of button presses described in the manual) and that the parking light switch (the rocker switch on top of the steering column) is on. As far as the low gas thing, keep track of your mileage and see how consistent it is about having it come on.

There's a switch on top of the steering column. Check that. It turns on your parking lights.

I mean my parking lights will not go off. They will stay on if I don't disconnect the battery, and my alarm light won't go off either;they stay blinking all day. All this happened 2 days ago, and I never had this type of problem before.

I can't wait to find out what went wrong. My car is also stock.

But still no acknowledgement if it could be the column switch... if it's hit.. your parking lights will NEVER go off....

I know about the parking light switch on the column! Installed boost gauge and though I had messed up the wiring. I was just about to take it all apart again when I remembered reading a thread dealing with the issue on this glorious site called...i-club.
