mine will look exactly like the one above

you order the car 4 months out
arrange payment 30 days before delivery
pick up car in gothenberg sweden
it comes with 15 days of EU registration and 15 days of insurance
drive around europe
return the car to dozen or so drop off points .. car is shipped to local dealer which takes ~45 days
Are you still required to finance through Volvo?

No fancy overseas volvos here, but the new Bridgestone WS70's I bought rock in the snow. I didnt feel the least bit of slip or sliding in my running around today. I might have to go do some playing when the traffic lets up.

well the winter has taken my STi limited lip from me. Was going to take it off before work but was running late and left without taking it off. I thought that the roads would of been cleaned more then they were at 3:20 but they weren't. Drove and hit a bunch of snow and it ripped it off my car. Me and a bunch of people ran it over. Oh well I will just have to buy a replica in the spring I can't spend that much on a lip again.

I'm moving back to the Boise area from Washington and figured you guys would know of the best and closest place to get a protune done and AWD Dyno. Please don't say Washington or Oregon. Thanks for the help.

^^^ Washington or Oregon. Not really any good options in Idaho, and no AWD dyno.

Some will use someone like PDX and then datalog once back to e-tune the final tweaks.

Yes. Hopefully there's a good location that'll still have some fresh stuff on Sunday. Weather should clear up on Saturday and we'll see some sun, so hopefully that doesn't ruin all the snow.

Went and had some fun in the Walmart parking lot last night snow was a little too deep to get any good flashing going though

What springs are you on? It was inevitable. Your car was low enough to plow 2" of snow on the grownd. That sux man.

^^ It has Tein springs, but definitely need coilovers bad the ride is pretty bouncy. Yeah I had a feeling that I was going to lose it. I drove with it on in the STi for two winters and it held up but we never had this much snow on the ground when I had that car.

Does ID have a "spotted thread" on here? Or do we just mention it in here? Cause I'm not sure if they're on here but I've seen some clean cars round town.

The car started getting massive knock today on the way home. Guess its time to finish this motor build. Anyone have any swaying comments on CP versus JE pistons? Both ofter forged OE sized pistons in 8.5:1. Price is exactly the same.

What part of town might that be?

In my neck of the woods (Caldwell/Nampa) I see a blue bugeye WRX and a blue hawkeye STi quite a bit.

Aww man that sucks, I am still looking for one so if you happen on any good deals and there is more than 1, let me know.

From what I have read, JE's are louder when cold, but performance/durability wise are about the same. Ross are a little cheaper and from the limited info I could find, they are pretty good as well, maybe another option? If you happen on some that are the wrong compression ratio, I got the means to shave a little off them now
