I am running a worked over 2.5RS transmission in my swap. I put in shorter 1,2,3 gears and kept the 4.11 final. So far no problems. Good fluid helps a bunch, and driving like an old man most of the time.

I dont know if the EJ207 ecu would work here. I run the 2003 WRX ecu in mine and a Cobb AP. All in all it wasnt a terribly difficult swap and it really made the car MUCH more fun. This is definitely how they should come from the factory.

^Try Boise Muffler. Those guys have treated me well in the past. Is it catless and on the car? Now that I think about it, they may not do if it's already installed and if you're catless. IDK... It would never hurt to give them a call and ask.

Anyone in the Boise area have an 06/07 Silver STi trunk/wing they would like to swap for an 06/07 wingless trunk or low wing trunk? I have both and would like to get an STi wing.

Thanks!
