yeah i have a tactrix but my laptop wont read the car for some reason, ive tried for hours with different timing and cant prevail. I have an 03 though and I hear theyre the worst

you dont plug in the flash block to read though

also that is a 02 block, i think the 03 one has 2 wires

Does any one happen to have an impreza drive shaft for an automatic impreza from wat I hear any year up to 01 should work looking to buy a gf8 but needs new u joint

It's all good ray. And yeah no flash block to read. I'm still trying to read and can't connect. Haven't tampered with it for a few days tho

Harbor Freight has some but you might end up buying a pulk pack for the color and lengths you want. OR Tacomoa Screw on Curtis or Kimball on Five Mile but however those places are most likely higher priced to walk in cash accounts. Good luck!

Have any of you guys found a reputable tuner in the area? Last time I looked the nearest was in SLC and I chose to keep with the OTS map on my MY08?

yeah theres nothing in Idaho, and I think Cobb left SLC so your closest would be Surgeline in Portland.

I've been to PRE in Greshem/pdx 2 times for tunes. I'll be going again this spring. Bobby does an excellent job.

Well, the time has come to look at selling my 2004 STI. If you know anyone interested, send them my way. Here is the posting I will be putting up in the For Sale Forum and on Craigslist.

  • 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - $18,750
  • Aspen white with silver BBS wheels (Kumho Ecsta XS tires w/ 50% tread remaining)
  • One owner, original owner since new. Have all paperwork
  • Only 60K miles
  • Separate set of winter wheels/tires included (Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 tires on ASA wheels). With AWD, this is a beast in the winter.
  • All stock, only modification ever done is a COBB AccessPort Stage I in 2004 which is included - brings car to 320 HP and 340 ft-lb torque
  • STI floor mats as well as winter floor mats included
  • New DBA4000 rotors and Hawk HPS pads on all 4 corners January 2011
  • Compass mirror, security system, and turbo gauge
  • All Kenwood stereo equipment with Dynamat in doors
    • 640W Kenwood amp for head unit
    • 600W Kenwood amp for 12" trunk mount sealed subwoofer
    • CD, MP3 with USB and IPOD connectivity

Not initially. Right now I am looking for more of a daily driver which will get better gas mileage and a little more comfortable ride. Currently my number one car would be a VW GTI. Then, I will most likely be looking for a car to build and maybe autocross down the road.
