Congrats man!

So looks like a good 27 people will be attending! Does the park have trash receptacles as well or should I bring some garbage bags? I'll also be bringing various steak seasonings if anyone wants more than just plain ol meat

I'm not sure on the trash bins. Garbage bags would be a good idea just in case.

I just found out from a big BSU fan that Municipal Park is really busy on game days for tailgating. Do we still want to meet there or find a different place?

you should come out for an hour at least, or better yet, bring the family!

well I guess if it ends up being crowded to the point no grills are available we can decide on another place once we're all there?

^Oh Poop! I totally forgot about that detail. Do you think people will be tailgating that early especially against a team like Toledo?

Ya it is just Toledo but fans this year seem to be more dedicated. It is kind late to move it. Worse case we could relocate once everyone is their like subaru_junkie said.

Might I suggest that nice little park out here on the backside of Nampa up against the reservoir?

That's not a bad idea. My wife says the tailgaters will sometimes be there at the park as early as 10am too... I'm for it if everyone else is. You gotta post a map though as im clueless to where this other park is. Being such late notice though I hope we dont lose half of our attendees.

Do either of these parks have grills?

We should make a decision tonight so that anyone checking the thread tomorrow morning knows where to go.

Lakeview Park in Nampa does have BBQs. Its easy to get to, just head south on Garrity Blvd. just after you go under the train tracks you'll see it on your left. Turn left at the light.

The park by Lake Lowell is nice but kind of far from the freeway and no play ground for kids.

Sounds and looks like a decent park, especially since it has grills. I say we go for this one instead. Hopefully the rain stays away, the forecast is supposed to be partly cloudy and 70

^^^ This map doesn't look like much of a park. Are we going for Lake View Park?

If it's close to the freeway and has grills, I'll be there. Lake lowell is just too out of the way for me and the kids.

according to google maps there are 2 lake view parks. one on s powerline, the other off garrity. the one off garrity looks like a real good location. this is the one with the grills and playground correct? looks like there's some sort of plane displayed at the park too? i say we make the decision and go for this one. hopefully everyone that is planning on going will be checking the thread tomorrow before they leave so they don't end up going to municipal lol.
