heres a question about downpipes, more of a poll. what do you think about these brands, HKS, DC SPORTS, GODSPEED, MEGAN RACING, OR INVIDA. note i have a medialon tanabe exhaust 3in catback. also what will happen if i dont get a tune right after i install the donwpipe. mods will be uppipe, and turbo back exhaust, and ram intake.

Really what it comes down to is fitment. Some fit better than others. You're really not going to get more horsepower buying one over another. The more expensive ones are just built better i.e cast bellmouth, better welds, divorced bellmouth, ect. Read the unabomber's manifesto about it http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=445812

This should answer a lot of your questions. You should be fine w/o a tune, but you will benefit more with one.

what is the rest of your exhaust, that will make a big difference. i think you can get decent quality without paying a kidney and left testicle and still get a decent piece. i have heard decent things about hks, megan, and invidia, for what it is worth.

I've got a new in box TurboXS muffler for the 2004-07 WRX/STi.

I bought this for my Forester, but decided I didn't want to have someone change the hangers, so I just bought a Forester specific exhaust.

Box has been opened, but the muffler is still wrapped up in bubble wrap, so never been isntalled, dirtied up, etc.

I just looked online and saw this for $368 new, so I'll get rid of mine for $300

this is the same exhaust right here

Buy me a set of front & rear sway bars, strut tower braces and another set of wheels/tires and I'm game lol

I'll make it out there for a few hours(on both days hopefully) to watch but I'm not entering until I get the above aforementioned parts on my car.

I'm in the middle of a r180 swap complete with 5x114 hubs, sti knuckles, suspension and brembos. The problem is... The axles I thought were sti, don't fit the r180 or the sti hubs. My car is on jack stands and I need some sti axles asap.

I was hoping to make it to the rally-x this weekend

So where is this rallyx I keep hearing about? Is it at pleasant valley raceway? I've never been out there before but would love to watch. Does it cost anything to spectate?
