Weaksauce. I'll look around to see if I still have mine, my dad owns his own company and has their business pack so you can use the product key multiple times

She should be able to get it at the ASU website. You can also download it from Microsoft and pay for it via credit card. If you have a .edu address you get a discount of some sort. I got Office 2007 Ultimate a while back for 65 bucks! I've used all the licenses though.

If she already has Office 2002, Office 2003, or Office XP, there is a download from microsoft available for free that allows you to read/open files made with Office 2007. That is what I do at work since they are not upgrading from Office 2003.

i have office pro 2003, but her class calls for office 2007. from what i've read, there are some sutle differences that might slow her down. she wants to use the 2007 since her whole class will be using it. and of course, the last resort is using the copy she can buy from work

And this is how Kyle's dad went to jail...

Microsoft will rarely if ever go after individuals who give out private licenses, but they come down like a ton of bricks on businesses who abuse licenses. I've seen it happen before... $$$$$.

I hear commercials all the time asking employees to rat out their employer for a reward.

Yeah, 2007 is pretty different. I still use both because frankly, I find 2003 easier to use at this point. I'm not completely familiar with 2007 yet. I can tell you it has a completely different graphical user interface than previous versions (tabs, fadeaway windows/toolbars, etc) but I think you can set it back to classic mode if you want (though I'm not sure). All the changes I've encountered so far have been for the better. I can't speak so much for Word or Powerpoint, but Excel is improved a great deal.

haha jackass. if my dad owns the company, and the company owns the license, and my dad owns the company, and I'm my dad's son, and I own the computer.. I think I should own a copy of it and be okay.

Sorry brock and Mr. thread maker who I can't remember your username right now and I'm going to feel like jackass so I'm going to have to edit this.

if my dad owns the company -- I'm listening.
and the company owns the license -- I follow you...
and my dad owns the company, -- You said this already.
and I'm my dad's son, -- Daddy's little squirt.
and I own the computer..-- You used "and" too many times and an ellipsis has three periods like this "...", not two.
I think I should own a copy of it and be okay. -- You most likely will not get caught, you're right, but it's technically not legal unless your father's business owns the computer and it is being used to conduct business. I've been through all this with my mother's company and its computers and software.
Sorry brock and Mr. thread maker who I can't remember your username right now and I'm going to feel like jackass so I'm going to have to edit this.

So what are you saying? If it's hot outside he'll cool you off, and make stuff burn later?

And becoming an adult only means when you're now prosecuted, it stays on your record.

Also, you still have a solid year and a half to tap that 17 year old tail before it become creepy. Do it for SWIC. [/pedobear]
