Default neutral switch

Can anyone shed some light on how to replace the neutral safety switch on an 06 wrx 5spd. The dang thing keeps acting up and makes my check engine light go on. Perhaps there is a thread with some info?

I think the switch is mounted on top of the transmission. You may be to adjust it or clean the contacts to clear the trouble.
