Default Feeler: PPG 1-2 straight cut 3-4-5 stock 5MT

SOLD to Calmdev
================================================== ======

Just like the title says, I have a used late 04 5MT up for sale w/ less than 40,000 mi on the PPG's that was just inspected and refreshed at Andrewtech (replaced bearings, inspected tolerances, im paying them to reassemble as it is still split if you want to do more work like shift forks, etc). They are willing to speak to you if you'd like more info, or PM me, and they have told me that the gears are in great shape. Still stock forks but remember it's open and now is the time. No good offers and that's all I would do.

1-2 synchro'ed PPG Straight Cuts, 3-4-5 Stock

This is a late 04 so the stubs are on the axles(male), not the transmission(female). The gearset is in great shape as I have kept up with maintenance. This is out of my daily driver making 350wtq/350whp and the stock gears have never been shock-loaded by dropping in under power. I do not abuse the stockers, only tough on 1-2 and they can certainly handle the power and sound awesome while your at it. The stockers have seen WOT and have had no negative reprocussions. I have yet to talk with someone who has broken under power alone, I broke 2nd aggressively downshifting like an idiot improperly double clutching a few years ago and this is what i had built after i learned my lesson the hard way. I now properly double clutch shift about 85% of the time into first and second only to save the synchros for when they are needed in traffic. I do not slam gears or drop the clutch, ever.

I am going 6MT to run larger hubs, brakes and DCCD.

FYI 1st goes to 35ish and 2nd gear takes me to about 72 mph at 7100rpm so great for impressive 1 shift 0-60 runs
I have to pull out the receipts but i believe i have about $3500 invested in this box before the recent overhaul.

PM me with offers please, no dibs unless i have ur cash

Hey I'm sending you a PM.

I have a few questions and I'm interested in working out a price with you - cash in hand.

haha, sorry this has taken so long. Wish the tranny would have been a direct swap! I'm calling Andrew Tech in about an hour to discuss what I called you about last night. Then I'll send your paypal payment.

I've never ridden in car with PPG gears, but I've watched many videos on youtube. I'm doing 1-4 SC with synchros and shiftforks. It's gonna be sweet
