Default 07 WRX BIG Foglights

Has anyone tried to stuff some bigger fog lights in the front bumper of an 06/07 wrx? One of my stock bulbs burned out (annoying) and I'm thinking about doing this sometime in the near future. Is there another fog housing I should look into, like a bigger one or should I pull the whole housing out and stuff the biggest thing I can in there? Any input is much a appreciated.

It is a 10 min fix, just buy the bulb and replace it... had to do two of mine already.

dont do this. fogs are not meant to be insanely bright.

I wonder if anyone is doing bigger fog lights for the 06-07. I have the Hella HID lamps in the stock location in my bugeye.

I really like the amount of light that it makes, and the fact that it looks stock. I haven't ever seen anything like that for later models.

I remember seeing someone cut the stock fog light trim piece out and install something like a hella 500 behind it with a mesh covering it to protect from rocks. I have thought of doing something similar.

btw, searching in the ultimate lighting thread for stuff like "hawkeye fog light" yields stuff that answers questions about, you guessed it, "hawkeye fog lights"

I've only seen 06-07 use a light bar with some bigger lights mounted near the opening at the bumper.
Have yet to see bigger fog lights replaced in the stock location for those years.

Nice.
Never saw those in person around here. Usually the 02-03 factory and 04-05 JDM is all I see in my area.

Looks so badass! Im going to do that now. Doesnt seem too hard to pull the stock fogs and redo with 02-03 fogs. Just take the body insert out.
