Well you could start with your stock size bulb.

THen you can stop there, because putting HID's in a stock housing is a TERRIBLE idea. Let me repeat that, TERRIBLe idea.

So save your money, and do a proper retrofit with OEM HID components IE: Fx35, s2k. TSX projectors...

But to each his own...

^ after reading the above, get a good pair of bulbs for the bugeye (personally, I use PhillipsXtreme Power), ad clear/polish the lenses of the headlights. That's as good as you can get, and it already gives a substantial improvement.

What the post says and ill tell you from personal experience i installed HID's in mine you hafta custom fit them cuz they dont make a kit for it but i had if for about 2 months and its really not that much better than a good aftermarket hallogen bulb and not to mention that you hafta aim your headlights really low to atleast combat the over glow blinding everyone so i just did a retrofit its acctually really easy takes alittle time but man the results are awesome here are some pics of when i had the HID's installed and then pics of when i did the retrofit.

(i had to put another set in the blinkers for brights it worked ok but not really worth it.)

(here what it looks like with the projector retrofit.)
