Problems with AC and Idle!

So two things that I have noticed.

First, whenever I turn on my air conditioner, it will begin to on but will never seem like it will fully turn on. Hard to explain but the noise that starts right when you turn on your AC, happens the whole time for me.

Second, I am not sure if this is from the AC but the car is barely idleing. It will drive okay in the upper RPMs but when the clutch is pushed in, the car just about dies and idles very rough. I have checked the hoses once and in the process of retightening them again.

Any ideas on either of them?

had a similar issue a while back. clean up my iacv and tightened up a few loose hose clamps(vacuum leak) and the issue was gone

hmmm, thanks. I will look into both of those. I am planning on making a trip to the dealership here soon to get a new gasket. also made sure to retighten any hoses. Thanks for the help and if anyone else has any advice let me know!
