bumper cover.
the high winds last night were amazing... literally ripped the rear bumper skin off a Boston MBTA bus and sent it flying towards me (I was two cars behind it). Fortunately, it doesn't seem to have done any damage, other than give me a real scare! The wind was fierce - it was enough to shake the wagon up and down hard enough to make drinks spill even when just sitting stopped at lights. I'm glad I didn't have to drive for long that night. -Edwin |

On the dim side I'd like to trade my Blizzak MZ-01s for Pilot Alpins

I just got Michilen Artic Alpins for the 16" rims. $450 mounted and balanced at Sears actually.
I have not given them a good test yet. It was too icey this weekend where Heather's Mom lives in VT, so we stayed in Boston. Paul G. |

I didn't have any bumper covers flying at me, but I got pelted with more than a few rocks. OUCH.
Pilot and I had to drive from Sugarbush VT last night. The winds were harsh at times, but the worst was the fog: We couldn't see more than a few car lengths in front of us, and that was still during the day light. And to top it off, the rain was absolutely pouring down. On the bright side, my Pilot Alpins kick butt in the rain! ![]() |
