Wink Bugeye budget project

Picked up this car near the end of summer in 2013. With some modes already on it.
Came

  • vf39 turbo
  • Turbo inlet pipe
  • catless downpipe
  • Kakimoto Exhaust (sold and got SPT right after)

The paint was faded so the same week I got the car I dropped it off at an auto body shop to certain spots repainted and also added some Fender Flares while at it:

Got hood and bumper repainted while at the body shop.

Here test fitting new wheel setup 17x9.5 +15 MB Battles. Had to run 5x100 to 5x114 conversion adapter/spacers since the MB Battles only come in 5x114.3

Running Circuit Sports 15mm 5x100 to 5x114 adapters. The MB battle wheels have pockets behind where the hub and wheel meets and allowed just enough space for the studs to clear. So didn't have to cut the factory studs to work with the spacer and wheel setup

Still an on going project

Taking off old shocks and spring setup.

New Manzo Coilovers just came in!

Now can fully adjust ride height and 15 way adjustable dampening.

More on these new coilovers soon. Currently being installed and will test them out right after.

Thanks for all the compliments!

The mods continue:

Picked up one of these Samurai Shift Knobs
Very easy to install, Just unscrew your factory shift knob and twist this one in and you ready to Rock!

Hey man I seen you were running 17 inch +15 mb battles with 15mm spacers I was wondering your opinion on something, I had to do the same thing instead 15 mm I bought a 25 mm spacer adapter and have 17 +30 offset mb battles, do you think or know if my rims and tires are gonna stick out or not? :/ not exactly going wide body yet so I'm a little concerned (17' mb battles +30 offset with 25mm spacer) will it stick out ridiculously far non wide body?

Are the wheels sunk under the flares with the 15mm spacers?
