Default Want to change TR A/C Controller to standard WRX Controll unit

OK nevermind just found a thread with everything i needed to know in it.....basically its not worth it haha. Guess i shoulda searched longer

I'm not sure you can, unless you have a 2004 wrx console. If I'm correct, your TR has manual HVAC controls (see mechanical) and the 2005+ models had electronic. I mean, I'm sure it's possible, but from my limited understanding you need a lot more than just the HVAC controls. Again, not an expert, but I would check to make sure your controls aren't mechanical first.

ya your right mine are cable driven, so making the swap would be way to costly i think. But thanks for you input.
