Default DCCD display help!

Ok, I've got a 2009 STi that's my track car. I am installing an AiM MXL Pista datalogger and would like to replace my stock cluster. The problem, however, is that my DCCD display uses the CAN bus to talk to the cluster. Previous models just used seperate wires (which makes wiring up an LED display pretty easy).

So, any ideas on how to get around this? Suggestions????

I'm skeptical that you're going to find one. You seem to be talking about reverse engineering the whole canbus setup. While I know that's doable, it won't be an easy task.

One possibility would be to retro-fit an earlier DCCD system into the car but, you'd probably have to switch harnesses, ECU and ABS systems too. You could also switch to an aftermarket ABS controller like the spiider. I believe it'll drive the earlier displays these days.

Most motorsport diff controllers (including the Plug and Play we have for the 2008-2009 as well as the standalone unit) also have a 0-5V output in additoin to the canbus driver to drive a seperate display
