Default FS NJ: EJ22T Block, Crank, Bolts and Gasket Set

Hey everybody, this EJ22T was purchased from another member (DeusExMachina, thread here) who pulled it from a running Legacy and disassembled it in hopes of building it. I purchased it in its current state to build and use when my 205 went, but I needed to get my car up and running quickly, so I purchased a complete engine and I can't afford to have expensive parts sitting in the basement. Please post or PM with questions or offers.

I keep changing my mind about keeping this in case something goes wrong with my 207, but this is definitely for sale now and I am willing to listen to ALL offers.

EJ22T block halves, block bolts, crank and full gasket set: $600 + shipping Price reduced to 500 + shipping
Will also deliver any reasonable distance for 500, including anywhere in NJ, Westchester or Rockland NY, NYC, etc

So the list:

***********- EJ22T shortblock halves and crankshaft, came out of a perfectly running Legacy Turbo and just needs some cleaning and machining for the piston bore. $600 with crank

So like I said before, it just needs machining and assembly. This block should hold pretty much any power you can throw at it (with good tuning) and rev high depending on the oil system and balancing work done at a machine shop. Its pretty much the end-all of Subaru builds for high-revving and displacement.

The question was asked via PM as to what I would do with this block. There are two ways you could go with it.

1. Have it cleaned, honed and reassembled with the factory crank, new bearings, forged rods and pistons.

2. Have it cleaned, honed and reassembled with a Phase I EJ25 crank (or for extra $$$ have it machined to accept an EJ257 crank), Pauter rods (or custom) and Weisco (or custom) pistons that are specific to this stroker combo.

If you are on a budget and looking for cheap, but indestructible block with great revability, go for the standard 2.2. If you have a bit more cash, stroke it for the extra displacement while retaining the strength and revability.

All PM's returned again and some answers to questions regarding shipping/delivery. I will deliver a reasonable distance if a deal is made. Shipping to anywhere else in the Northeast looks to be in the 50-60 dollar range according to a UPS estimate yesterday. Hope this helps and thanks for the offers/interest.
