Default Modify Autometer Cluster Bezel Gauge Pod to fit 60mm gauge?

Alright here's the situation I'm in. I currently have a Defi 60mm boost gauge, and in the near future was planning on picking up a wideband as well. Although, the only widebands that I really like (AEM & Innovate) are all 52mm. So, I'm only looking at getting a 2 gauge pod/bezel for the moment and trying to find one that I like. I found the Autometer Cluster Bezel Gauge Pod that holds 2 52mm (2 1/6") gauges and mounts them in the same area as the stock gauges. IMO, it's one of the stealthier gauge pods, and I really like it. Take a look:

My question is, has anyone ever tried to modify this pod to fit a 60mm gauge? With what looks to be a limited amount of material that can be trimmed would it be possible to trim it to fit a 60mm gauge and still look clean?

Anyone have any instructions on how to modify/trim a gauge pod to fit a larger gauge? Thanks in advance!

-Brandon

that link with the how to is probably the best way to make a 60mm fit. You could try cutting out a straight segment instead of just slicing it and spreading it open if you want to maintain the even curve around the pod... either way you will have to fill the gap with something. I have two 52mm pods in my bezel and there is no possible way to fit a 60mm without spreading the plastic open somehow.
