Go to the Gun Store and shoot some full auto goodness. Nothing is sexier than seeing your wife shoot an MP5

http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/gunrental.html

Not super cheap but we all had a blast doing it the day before my wedding.

Blue Man Group was awesome, Hoover Damn is just amazing if you have never been. Always ALWAYS buy your show tickets from the little 1/2 off tickets places on the strip. You can save a ton if you aren't too picky on the show you want to see.

I hear that there's some 25 cent limit tables in Reno...

but srsly..

It was not cheap for me.. I lost ~$600 in the Casino's.. Go look at how fancy the hotels are, especially the Venetian! Really nice in St. Peter's square and you can take the whiff for a fancy shmancy gondola ride!

I'd say Vegas is fun whether you drink/gamble or not, but I haven't done anything there but drink or gamble .

Yaah craps tables!

also, Delmonico steakhouse in the Venetian is probably the best restaurant in Vegas IMO... Pricey (around $120 (depending on how many drinks you order) per person) but it will literally RUIN steak for you. It was that ****ing good. How could it be bad... it's Emmeril's place!

Well, we're not big gamblers...so not too much of that. We'll probably plan $100 to donate.
I play some blackjack and 5-card...and the wife likes slots, but she likes "real" slots (where you put a real, metal coin in and pull a real lever, and real wheels spin inside the thinga'ma'jobber).

Blue man sounds cool...I've wanted to see them in the past. Stomp would be grooby too...but I don't think they're in Vegas anymore. Comedy would be cool...maybe Penn n' Teller or Carrottop (kidding).

Delmonico sounds...well, its sounds amazing, but I dunno' about $120 friggen scribs for a plate of beef ( ). Actually, the wife is a big steak fan...so that might the "really nice" meal we score after I win big in Hold'em.

We're golfers, so maybe a round? In the summer, it'd have to be early morn or late afternoon, right?
And the grand canyon is "close" ain't it? Maybe we'd rent a car for the day and go there...we're pretty outdoorsy...

I have seen Cirque du Soleil twice @ the Bellagio. Each time I was comp'd for the tickets, but I would gladly pay next time. It was nothing short of an amazing show.

There seems to be some bitchin' deals off-strip and h-ville...except she wanted a nice pool for some loungin'...

Is it worth the extra cash to stay on-strip...and all that?
I'm thinking probably.

Would HIGHLY recommend Blue Man Group over Penn and Teller. Wife and I saw BMG about four years ago when we were there and loved it. A lot of energy, very funny, very cool. We saw Penn and Teller this past March and were not impressed. Kind of funny, pretty unimpressive magic tricks, and the tickets were pretty damn expensive.

YES...stay on the strip. The 6 times I have been to Vegas I have always stayed on the strip(Venetian-1, Luxor-1, Flamingo-4). I had 30 people out to Vegas for my wedding and told everyone to stay on the strip or at least very close. The ones that didn't ended up paying out the ass to get to and from the hotels. I HIGHLY recommend The Flamingo Hotel. Not amazing to look at from the front as it is an older Hotel but the pools are great and the grounds are gorgeous. We walked the grounds with our coffee and muffins every morning and watched the exotic birds walking around. We have always been able to find a nice deal online.

Oh and always remember this...

Yes, eat some good food at the upscale steak house of choice. I'm a big Ruth's Chris fan, but I imagine they're all pretty much the same.

If you're outdoorsy, go hiking at Red Rock Canyon. Wear a hat, bring water.

Don't scoff at CT, I saw him years ago at the MGM(b4 he got all roided out), it was the funniest show I've ever been to.

best course I played when I was there in Feb was Tuscany. GPS in the cart, beautiful 18 hole course located within 30 minutes of the strip, cart girls and great food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

also the drive to the grand canyon is 4-5 hours each way take a helicopter tour if you want to go, not worth the drive on a 4 day trip IMO

If there's one thing I'll tell you NOT to do, it's that you should not go see Criss Angel's show at the Luxor. At all. Ever.

Waste of $400+ worth of tickets (four people, including my two 6+8 year old nieces). Not only was he on stage for maybe 20 minutes of his own damn show which was two hours long, but he dropped the F-bomb constantly, had a stupid amount of gore and violence and there were maybe five magic tricks total. The rest was all dancing and a retarded storyline used as filler. It's supposed to be a family magic show, not a damn horror flick. I feel sorry that the Luxor is trapped into a 10 year deal with him, because if he keeps that up, nobody will go see him, at all.

Anyway, we stayed at the MGM and had a pretty good time. I got plastered off of the 151 degree daquris (double fisted those while walking around the floor trying to get lucky at blackjack and the "win a car" slots. Won big at the slots, blew it at the tables. Drinks basically came out free after all was said and done.

OH. Check out PF Changs, and order the Mogolian beef. Seriously, that stuff is amazing.

Also, be prepared to take a $5-8 hit anytime you want to pull cash out of an ATM there. Damn was that a shock to the system, considering up here it's either free, or $1.50 max.
