Default General's Holset Wagon get in the 11's stock EJ205 (VIDEO)

FINALLY!!

I think I can relax a little now. This has been quite an adventure getting to the 11's!

So today I started off by leaving my laptop at home ... so my LC was set at 62 or 6300 (not sure where I had it last). And I was running lean up top, all I could do was raise my fuel pressure up a little w/o being able to tune on it.

Spinning BAD!!

But was trapping good tonight.. 118mph high for the night

12.07
12.1
12.03

And then on my 4th pass it finally happened. 11's on the stock 205 block.. 170,000+ miles! 4800ft elevation!! (PMP Colorado)

For anyone who hasn't seen it like 10 times before lol (full mods and my build info: GeneralTJI)

Here is the slip:

Here is a video I put together... it's 4:30am here.. I'm sleeping in tomorrow. Thanks guys for all the comments on the previous posts etc. Thanks for checking this one out!

Nice dude, I knew you would do it!! Lean is mean my friend! You can tell a difference with the top end with the leaner afr's (compared to results you have posted previously). We trap exactly the same to the eighth and then you are just gone, bookin up top!!

Congrats man

Sick, that has potential for mid 11s no prob. Any repairs on that 170k mile 205 since new? Mine still runs the same after 93k

Nicely done,....
Makes me want to get my car back to the track after my last 11.96 @ 117.... My skinny gears are afraid of me though

Your times look great
Are you right at the limiter crossing the line or do you have a bit more?
(sorry I have asked you this b4 but never catch the reply)

Yea no doubt.. after tuning it for him I didn't really feel like ever driving my car again. He runs 10's but traps high enough for low 10's maybe even 9's with the right launch and traction. Has a built 383 stroker, (voodoo cam, afr heads etc.) an F1r Procharger, E85, FAST XFI, built tranny, big stall, etc. Neat guy and a neat car.

Thanks Aaron.. I'm glad it happened before the motor came apart.

When I bought the car it was 100% stock, but had a burned exhaust valve. I pulled the heads and put some on that had around 50-60k at that time. So technically the bottom end has 170,000+ and the heads now have like 90ish. We'll see how much longer it makes it though, I'm sure it hates me something serious

I raised my limiter to 7400.. seemed I was tagging it at 7300 right at the line or just a hair past it. Not exactly sure what RPM I'm at but its up around 7300 I'd say.

Nice job man I know what it feels like! Recent 11 second clubber here myself. Even better that you did all of it with your own set up. I've held myself to run 93 octane only, and is what I ran my 11.7s on, but that e85 stuff must be equivilant to running c12 or c16 daily. I have to ask, I see your running on modded stock injectors, I use PE800s, hows your idc on your set up with the ethanol? There aren't any stations with it here yet, but if it became an option, I'd make the switch, but would hate to change injectors for it.

Again man awesome runs, nice car...when the 205 goes, make it a end table/trophy...lol...its done very well!

Wish I would have remembered my laptop, not sure on IDC's... may have been why I went lean (good thing it burns cooler). I have an extra 10-12psi of fuel pressure and I'm at the limit of the 840's. At 12.2 AFR's. Or maybe my pump is running out, single Walbro.. not sure yet as my prosport fuel pressure gauge died again..

Yea this 205 has done all you can ask of it, lol... it deserves a hug

Thank you, very kind.

I think I'll put the WRX on drag racing retirement.. and actually just drive it on the street for fun again.. until I finish building my motor that is.

That is unless my buddy with his 04 GTO breaks my time (200 shot, nasty patriot cam, headers, gears, true-trac, Hoosier DR's etc.) He ran a 12.07 on a 150 and busted his rear end, so pretty soon he will have it back together and it's on If it holds together on the 200 I might be in trouble

Thanks buddy!

PMP is a little lower.... I actually had too much traction at Bandimere Figured PMP would be better to get a good launch without bogging or breaking something.. actually too slippery though (Bandimere will let me run in the groove if I wanted, PMP won't). Spinning through first sucks, but hey it all worked out.

Little update:

I went to the Bandimere to work on that Camaro's tune last night. Made some changes and he made a pass. Keep in mind this is 5800ft elevation and he is on drag radials (325's!!) but still, they are DR's. Anyway, he ripped off a 10.1 @ 130 with a 1.4x 60ft!!! I went ahead and threw a little more timing in it, and leaned it out slightly (still on his low boost pulley too).. but we got rained out before we had a chance to rip a 9 second pass!! that mofo is so damn fast it's silly... makes me sick
