Default Anyone using hydraulic spring perches?

Just was poking around the hyperco site looking for uprated springs and came across these. I understand what they are supposed to do, but is it worth it on off-the-shelf setups like KW clubsports?

Simply put, you don't want them. They require frequent rebuilds and the upfront cost is a lot. It's not worth the money or hassle.

In the fronts, I don't think we need them. I thought the push for these was to reduce the amount of spring twist but, since the uppers on the front are in bearings the bearings themselves take up the twisting motion of the springs don't they?

A buddy of mine gave me a set of Vorshlag camber plates and the bearing they use for the upper spring perch is massive. I imagine under compression, when the spring wants to twist, that bearing simply rotates back and forth under the twisting motion.

What springs are you shooting for Frank? What's the max spring rate a set of RCE-T2's can handle?

Myles tells me 600 lb/in should be ok. I certainly felt like the dampers were overpowering the 450 lb/in springs when I had them 2 clicks from full hard at VIR.

According to hyperco's website, springs don't load their perches evenly since they only touch the perch where the coil "lands", and so produce a sideways load on the shock tube as the spring is loaded. This load would cause the inner and outer tubes to press against each, loading the seals and creating stiction. Presumably each shock manufacturer addresses this at least reasonably well in the design of their tubes, seals, guides, etc, but with uprated springs I thought there might be some noticeable stiction to remove with these.
