My roommate and I hit up Capitol Forest yesterday. Ended up biking up a forest road C-8000 to the top. Found our Mt. Molly trail only to come across a huge washout that we decided to climb down into then carried our bikes back up the mountain side to get back to the trail. Unfortunately when we got hit a forest road again we lost the trail and just rode the forest road all the back down to the bottom. Did about 11miles with some huge elevation change. It was quite the work out.

Hey, you should setup another ride, I would have come out for the last one but I just found this post. I blame work for not letting me get on Nasioc as much as usual

St. Eddy's Park in Kirkland has a good amount of single track, plus a couple more extreme features. Its also centrally located, so its a place I go to quite a bit, but I would be down to travel and try out something new as well.

anyone know if Tokul East is good for some newbie riders? A friend and I typically ride Soaring Eagle/Beaver Lake park with no problems.

Sorry guys, been working and stuff. We could meet a my house Wed. and go from there if you want. With the heat we could go for a ride in the woods a few miles from home and stay cool by the creek and waterfall. Let me know!!

I just got a crappy used bike off craigslist (mongoose pro...) and am trying to get back into it. I haven't ridden in quite a few years, I've been riding the trails around Finn Hill almost every night the past week (st ed's and surrounding area) because its a 5 minute ride from my house. Feels pretty good to get back into it a bit.

Hahah, ixney on the co-worker... apparently his wife is more important than mountain biking, I just don't get some people's priorities

Ahhh, and how intense are these trails?

Just saw this thread. I've just started to get into XC and easy downhill stuff. Would love to find some folks to ride with. Can't make it on Wed but hopefully next time. Please keep me posted on when folks are riding.
