It's wet and muddy to be honest. Actually about 4-5 days after rain it becomes better but the trails don't drain really all that well. During rain it's wet and sloppy.

Stick to fall creek to Peak runs and they hold up about the best in the area. The moto trails become terrible because all the whoops become deep puddles in winter.

I could be down to get in on a shuttle day

Start of the new pump track at the Tieton Bike Park.

Little Carter (friend's kid) obviously can't wait.

Went out for a group ride today for about 2 hours.
Between me being soooo out of shape and riding the big pow storm my legs are shot.

Myself and few buddies are signed up for the StinkySpoke on January 14th. Pretty good time and an excuse to get muddy and drink some beer.

http://stinkyspoke.org/

Also of note, with Carter as a sponsor, they seem to be putting together a bit of a Subaru meet. From the registration page:

"First 50 carpools in a Subaru get preferred parking at Redhook! Best bet for all others is to park across the Sammamish Slough at the Little League fields, or in the parking lot for the "someday" Woodinville Village, then pedal a couple hundred yards over to Redhook for the start. Parking at Redhook is limited. "

We have a group of about 8 all doing the stinky spoke. Last year ALL Subies got parking in the Redhook lot. It was packed too.

I'll go ride this weekend and see if my fat bloated christmas ass can still pedal. I wonder what constitutes a carpool, like 2 people?

Edit: Nevermind. $40 is way more than I would pay for that.

What size????????? We have a large on closeout at Center Cycle! $4700! could possibly knock like $100 more off it! Let me know! I work all week Sunday-Thursday.

On another note, me and a buddy rode Gem state at exit 27 this morning IN THE SNOW! It was EPIC. Full sketch the whole way down.

nice! is that a 38 tooth chain ring up front? or 36T? 38T is pretty big for a slopestyle/all mountain/freeride style bike! Sweet bike! Going to break it in in the snow????

Not sure what size it is maybe I should swap it to a smaller ring, didn't seem like it was too bad riding around the back yard for a couple minutes but we'll see. I am super stoked on it though
