Default fp small 16g + E85 on 2.0

Final numbers on my car. This is going to be it for a bit, once I finally invest in some sway bars I'm done modding until something blows up.

Full list of power mods:
FP small 16g
Zeitronix MAP sensor
Cobb short ram
Perrin silicone hose to
Samco turbo inlet
STI intercooler
Invidia V3 downpipe
Custom 3in catback with cat and magnaflow exhaust
Perrin BCS
Walbro 255
DW 750's
grimmspeed pnp ceramic coated:
intake manifold
throttlebody
tgv deletes
phenolic spacers
exhaust headers with high flow crosspipe
uppipe w/ 38mm Tial EWG plumbed back into dp
one step colder plugs

There is still an issue with burning oil. I bought a Crawford Air Oil separator for this reason and just need to figure out where to put it with a tmi. Anyway, onto the dyno:

I went from this on the td04 with E85:

To this on the fp small 16g with E85:

Drive ability is vastly improved as well. As you can probably tell just by how well the new turbo holds boost all the way to redline!

i really am considering the FP small turbo on my 2.0 on 650cc but NO e-85... i really want to know how much more you feel boost kick in, (put you in your seat) than the stock tdo4 stage 2?

Hahaha, thanks for the edit. I'm happy with the numbers, this is a very low reading dyno and we didn't push the car hard, my tuner was worried about me throwing a bearing with 140k on the car. The last car I saw tuned on it made 400whp, with a gt30 and E85. Low reading dyno!

There's definitely a difference. There's even quite a difference between my 91 octane gas tune and this one. I'm sure part of that was my MAP sensor wouldn't let me run more than 18psi consistenly (huge dips in boost across the rev range), which we then had to detune for. However, comparing two you definitely feel a push of power, my first experience when I floored it with the 16g was holy****! And that was on the 91 octane map...

Looks good! I'm surprised at the slow spool of the TD04 tune, but hey, that's old news

Why no torque curve?

- to the OP -> glad to hear you actually felt a difference, thats what i am looking for

Running an ACT street light fly wheel and a ACT heavy duty street disc clutch. Unfortunately, I think I fried the disc trying to launch it, so, a new one shall be put it. To go along with that, I ordered a RA gear set, figured it should be more than sufficient for my power level. Should be installed with in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah, on the street full spool was about 2800, something about the loading of dyno dynamics dyno's not be the same as on the street. As for the torque curve, your wish is my command.

Dude, I have been searching high and low for feedback on some of the Grimmspeed parts you got on there. I have an 04 WRX. Pretty much same mods as you. Tuned to 17-19 psi (Won't hold boost cuz my actuator won't allow it.. hence wanna go EWG) and making 270AWHP on 93 octane. I have a PnP FPE316G as opposed to your small 16G and UTEC... what you using for Engine management?
I wanted to ask you if you have any problems w/ cold starts w/ the TGV deletes (you do live in MN... I suppose that's one heck of a lot colder than NY ) You feel the PnP headers and intake mani worth it?
Thank you in advance for your input. Put up some pics of your ride, man!

I'm using a Cobb AP for engine management.

As for the cold start issue, it certainly happens. My car does not like starting in the cold due to the E85, however, it has never failed to start. I'm told this can be tuned out, however, my tuner doesn't think he can do it with the Cobb software. Something about not having the correct fuel map that can be adjusted, he needs to up the fuel flow to the injectors during cranking.

I haven't had any issues with the TGV deletes being a problem. However, idling is a lil' rough until it warms up.

I think the pnp work is worth it. It totally changed the way it responds and I think for future mods, it will help even more! And your right, pics are needed. I don't think I have any updated ones anyway, I'll have to get on that.
