Default Finally tinted the tail lights on the 08 STI

One of our good customers has a friend with a body shop that owed him a favor, so he graciously hooked us up with some tail light tinting It's about 3 coats of paint, clear, and buff. Many thanks to Alan for helping us out!

Nah, sorry didn't get that, I took these pics in a hurry today. Light transmission is great...I didn't want to go too dark on purpose. The car gets enough looks as it is, no need to draw attention to the tinted tails.

Not to threadjack, but do you guys with the '08 and '09's notice that lots of bugs make their way inside the lights?

It's just a pain opening them up and spraying them out with an air compressor. I've never had a car with that problem before...

(The light tint looks really nice, BTW.)

the only way to do it AND to look factory is the red around the sides,...not all red, not all black, def not all clear...lol .but this is different and really looks good! nice job
