That small one with the lipo setup is uncontrtollable. It flips over when you gun it haha

No lipo, just with the regular NMIH battery It does 30 MPH and is a lot of fun. You can run them with dual batteries in parallel or in series. In series it is supposed to do 50, and yea it would be stupid like that.

It was soaking up curb jumps at near full speed with no issue at all. It was impressive.

The 1/10 version is actually cheaper by $80 because it does not some with the brushless stuff.

Are the mains 5 minutes in the Slash class?

Ok, which ever scale you want to do is fine with me. I think the mains are still 7 or 8 minutes long.

Right on, I'm in no rush. I'll check out the small one first too before purchasing.

Haha nice, I understand. I still have every one of my RC stuff since the beginning. I just couldn't part with them. These are just a few of the touring cars I have. http://www.pbase.com/skinart76/image/43846803/large

Traxxas has run plastic motor plates since the late 90s. It is a fun car not a race car

If you go SC10 then I'm out because the price of this will double. I dont want to have to buy LIPO batteries, chargers and brushless motors to go race. That is the whole reason I stopped electric racing in the first place.

The slash seems pretty good. Nobody seems to be breaking them as they come out of the box.

Everything is built like a toy compared to 1/8 scale anyway.

I can't wait dude! Just finished putting together the starter box and set up the alignment pins. The buggy is ready to rock! The only spec class I know of is the "Slash" class. Otherwise it's the same class division as before.
let me know if its there

my xpress still pwns hehe

The track's been changed since this video. The huge double I had mentioned to you on Monday is very intimidating the first time looking at it.

you have a good point there, i want this to be cheap also.

i'll wait to see what you guys do, but I think we would be better off running 1/10... that track seems too bumpy for 1/16

I agree, 1/10 would probably be better, but the 1/16 car is really cool. I just want to see what happens with it.

$189 shipped for the 1/10 slash is a really good deal to go out and have fun with.

I assume you need batteries and a charger as well Matt?

Traxxas 1/10 slash "stock" class at OCRC. The car is under $200 ready to run. You just need batteries and a charger. I believe you need to run the stock 12 turn motor, and speed control in that class. You can run any radio and servo you want.
