I've got a Losi XXL that has some decent mods, and a Rovan 5T Baja that runs like a raped ape. I haven't ran them since I moved to Cali though.

I lived in the country back in Ohio but am in the city now and these things are WAY to loud to run around here.I'll search the thread and see if there is any place folks go on the north side of L.A.

Here is the Losi (which I am seriously thinking about selling)

This is the Rovan fresh out of the box. Since then I've added:
Killer B kill switch
Turtle Racing rear brace
Dom exhaust
HPI high performance clutch
...and a bunch of other stuffs
Its ran really well and taken a few rough beatings

Just picked this up

Use to be into RC cars a long time ago before this brand was even round. Looked around the internet a bit and people say these things are tough so I picked it up + a lipo battery to make it go 70 LOL. I wanted something I could bash a bit and not have to worry about it breaking as easily as some of the others.

Redcat Racing Tornado EPX PRO Buggy 1/10 Scale Brushless Electric

+
DuraTrax LiPo 7.4V Onyx 5000mAh 25C Hard Case Battery

Brushless + 5000mah lipo =

I have a HPI 5t Baja that has been modified as well. I also have a 5sc and a 5b waiting to be assembled. Where do you normally bash? I live in the SCV area.

I haven't done any bashing since we moved out here last fall. I take my WRX up to Hungry Valley every now and then. That is the only spot I've been to that would be good to run my trucks. I need to start prepping them.

Picked up an Axial EXO Terra Buggy 4wd as gift to myself for my 40th birthday.

It's fun on pavement/tarmac, but it is a blast on dirt/sand/grass or any other low traction surface.

5000mah NiMH 7.2v battery running a 2900Kv motor.

Think I'm gonna try an 8.4v batt to see if I can pick up a bit more speed.

I used to be HUGE into RC about 15 years ago. I had an RC10, RC10T GT (the gas truck) a Kyosho Spider and one of these bad boys

Sold em all a long time ago, except the Triumph, which is still sitting in my parents basement in Montreal (sans electrics).

I'd love to get back into now that I live in LA! Where are some good tracks? And are there any actual KITS any more? The fun part is the assembly!

^^ wow yeah that is some antique stuff there.

The only track that I know of is at Glen Helen Raceway. I haven't had a chance to use it yet though. I'll be out there this weekend though for the rallyx and will bring my baja in case I get a few minutes to goof off.

I added some LEDs to my baja recently

I will have to admit I'm addicted to rc cars. I cant help it. I got the TLR 2wd and 4wd for offroad. But I mostly race onroad. I go out to the tamiya track quite a bit. My favorite cars are my tamiya TRF 417, and my tamiya M05.

Anyone into Nitro? I've been running at Revelation Raceway in Ontario.

I have a Mugen MBX6R, MBX6T, Associated SC8, and RC10GT2.

Quick video of my sc8.

Good video of the current layout.

Man, I miss going to the tracks around SoCal. I fly helicopters exclusively now, it's much easier to fly, than to find a track around here.

Ohh, btw... Hi Matt!

Hey Matt... I have my RC8 sitting on my shelf... I just need to clean it and buy some fuel and it's ready to go. I can meet you there sometime. I haven't run it in a couple years, but it will fire right up. I used to go to revelation all the time.

I used to be way into rc cars! In fact I have one that needs to go! It is a traxxas slash 4x4 brushless goodness! It is obviously used, in good shape with TQ remote. Maybe has 4 hours total on engine and chassis. Comes with a few extras including lipo. Also have a very nice charger that can be sold with the car extra or separate if needed. Just trying to get more parts for my sti. Will trade for--1000cc side feed injectors, TMIC, or possibly something else for my 05 sti that I just got a 1.5xtr for and need supporting mods.... Total package last year I paid 650+ with charger. Would let go for 450 OBO or trade for.....pm me for pics more details...zach
