Default wts: 03 wrx 5spd transmission

Up for sale is a 2003 Subaru Imprea WRX 5spd transmission. The transmission was brand new when i bought it and after have driven 18000 miles the driveshaft input bearing (back of trans where the driveshaft connects to the trans) went out and caused the rear wheels not to spin. That is the only problem i'm aware of; but with the trans in the car it still shifted through all gears just fine while on a lift. The trans has never been raced or abused. Please email me with any questions--wcgbadel@hotmail.com. Price I'm asking is 1250obo + shipping or local pickup in or around Hot Springs, AR 71913. I would rather have it fixed and have a backup trans but short on money ATM as i did work for Chrysler (LOL).

Thank you,
Brenton

From what the mechanic said its an easy fix. But noone out here in Arkansas can fix it. And from the tampa racing forums I've seen trans that are stuck in gear or with a blown gear go for a thousand. And the gearset with working diffs are the expensive parts. But yes the prices on here seem cheaper then most other places ive seen. I would take a thousand for it now as im in bad need of money.

I can also supply a pic of the drive shaft yoke so you can see what the drive shaft looks like.
