Ziglabeu - easiest way to find out is drop them an email. Tell them what exactly you're looking for, so they'll be able to tell you whether or not it's available. I do know however that they have several WRX cat-backs, turbo-backs as well as up-pipes in stock.

Thumbs up iON Performance/GTBGUY is great!

Jack is one of the best people I've dealt with on the boards. Tons better than Tokigi and he responded quickly to all my emails. I bought my complete Brullen header-back exhaust from him, and I couldn't be happier. He found out when it would be completed by Brullen, and when it wasn't ready when I wanted it to be, he paid part of the cost of overnighting it from Canada.

Besides the fact the exhaust is WONDERFUL. I'm very glad I bought it, and even happier I bought it from Jack. Thanks!

Thumbs up iON Performance

Couldn't find anything searching the last year.

iON Performance has been a great vendor. They are one of the vendors that take the time to run a GB the right way. Frequent communication, fair handling of deposits and full payment, not berating those who committed and need to back out, meeting deadlines, responding quickly to e-mails and phone calls and most importantly delivering a top notch product.

I have communicated with Jack on a number of things and he is patient and straight forward for someone as knowledgable as he is about performance.

I couldn't have said it better myself! I know I pelted him with question after question and each one was answered very clearly and in a timely manner. I also appreciate him not getting mad when USPS took well over 2 weeks to deliver my MO.

Overall it was a very smooth transaction and I'd recommend iON/Jack to everyone!

Default Still awaiting parts from Ion Performance

In October 2004, I sent in a certified check of about $987, for a catback, high flow catalytic convertor and poly-urethane hangers for my 1997 Impreza L wagon

In February of this year, I received the catback
I was told that the high flow catalytic convertor and hangers had been shipped

When I did not receive the high flow catalytic convertor and polyurethane hanger after a few weeks, I was told by Jack that the shipper lost my package and a new set would be shipped to me

Again in April, Jack told me that he had shipped these parts
Again I never received them and again Jack told me that the shipper had lost these parts

Net result, I am out $987 and I have a cat back that I cannot install until I get the poly-urethane hangers and we have the strange case of the shipper losing the same parts twice

I have been calling Jack every week and I get the same story that the shipper is still searching for this parcel

I got my mechanic to install the Catback using stock hangers
So I managed to salvage the Catback
I am still out the $300 for the high speed catalytic convertor and polyurethane hangers
still waiting for the shipper to find the lost parcel for the second time

Ummmm - you do know that it's June of 2005 right? You know that in 4 months it'll be a year since you ordered that stuff? Methinks that you just need to get your money back.

My options are rather limited
The payment was in Certified check, not credit card
The vendor is outside the US

I got a turbo from Jack with a core charge. He never told me EVER that he wanted the exchange in two weeks or loose $75 per week. I kept my turbo and he got my $300. I was less than pleased.

Any vendor who required payments in the strange ways he does is suspect to me. I would not do business with again.

There is atleast one person on the Legacy forum that has been waiting that long for his cat-back. I'm surprised people buy from them although I am tempted by their springs for the Legacy.

In the past, I have bought stuff from them such as cat-back and brake kits and they were shipped but very slowly 2 - 3 months wait
So I was willing to wait, but 8 months is too long

Some correspondence from Ion regarding the package they lost for the second time
It is nearly a month since then
I guess they are still searching for the package ???

On 5-17
Hi GS, just wanted to let you know that we're still waiting on your package to be returned from the depot. The local DHL/Loomis could not find it as of yet in their warehouse; it had however arrived back from Winnepeg.

I will keep you posted as I get news.

Thanks,

Jack

Hi GS, we still haven't gotten confirmation from the local depot as to them finding it in their warehouse. I'm going to be making a trip over there this afternoon to help them look for it.

I will PM you later today after the trip over to the warehouse.

Best Regards,

Jack

On 4-11 - ( Still havent seen the parts )

Hi G.S. sorry I didn't get a chance to get back to you Friday. Our shipper ended up coming in this morning. He gave me the tracking #, and I called the local DHL depot. For some reason it has been sitting at the depot because it was rejected at the boarder. I'm going down there this afternoon to see what's missing.

I'll keep you posted.

Best Regards,

Jack

For my next cat-back, I recently purchased from Dale Teague at Boxer4racing
The improvements I see, are Dale takes credit cards and the parts have arrived in 2 weeks
Thanks Dale

Still awaiting parts

One thing that I note is this
On this forum, when there is a vendor problem issue,
either the vendor tries to fix the problem or gives his side of the story

I finally decided to write off my losses with this vendor and put it down as a learning experience
I purchased the hi-flow catalytic convertor and polyurethane hangers from Dale Teague

Dale takes credit cards and ships in 2 weeks
