Clickers? or the K2? I might be able to find a pair for you...how much are you willing to pay? I work at a ski shop and we have been having a huge swap this weekend. Might be some used ones coming in and I could hook you up. Oh yeah, go for the Thule Rack...you'll pay with a arm and a leg, but its a good product. If you jsut get the ski rack though, might as well get a Barrecrafters because they are cheap and do the job well.

right now i have burton freestyle freesoles. i don't really want step ins. can't afford new boots AND new bindings. A couple of my friends have , i think RIDE, metal strap-ins. i took my friends board up the hill last time i was out while i left mine at the shop to get wax. I really liked how tight they felt. so i'm realy looking for something similar to those. no matter waht i need new ones. I twisted the bolts out of mine at ragged mountain. I cut the ends and put them back together in the last screw hole but i don't really feel too comfortable riding with straps that are only holding on by the last 2 clicks. I could just buy a couple new straps. but i've really had it with those bindings.

Exit 19 off the NYS thruway. Get off at exit 19 Kingston, and go through the tool booth. There is construction on the rotary (not important but just to let you know) and take your very first right heading west towards Pine Hill. Go through one traffic light then you will past Johnson Ford/Nissan on your right. At this point keep driving and in seconds you will see out large tent on the side of Route 28 on the right...but you cant get to it yet. Go to the next light and take a immediate right, followed by another right and youre at Potter Brothers Ski Shop! There is one more swap weekend this year (not sure on the dates) and tomorrow is the last day of the one this weekend. We are open from 9-4 tomorrow so drop on by. We still have lots stuff left and really good used stuff. Get there early before people start to pick their stuff up! See you tomorrow?!?

Kevin,
Question. Ok i've never snowboarded in my entire life. Want to start this winter. What's a good board to get that's nice but not too expensive. Also what other gear do i need besides the board. And also, does the store you work at have a web site?

Hey, I dont have a clue about snowboarding. Im a skiing kind of guy. The web page is http://www.potterbros.com We have a lot of knowledgeable people who work there so its all good though. As a beginner though, a whole boot/binding/board thingie will probably put you around $450 then add helmet (you need this, its about the best accessory you can buy) then you need jacket, pants, gloves, goggles, some way of getting the board to the MTN, tickets. That can easily be another 75-100 for pants, about $120 for a helmet, 45 for goggles, 100-300 for a jacket, 35-50 for gloves, and then a lift ticket. SO it is expensve and that is why we offer the swap and sale. YOu can get a board and bindings for about $150 used, 50-75 for boots..then you can get used clothing (in good shape of course...I get stuff sometimes) and also clothing from last year that no one wants. Any more questions and let me know. Oh yeah, out next swap dates are November 3, 4, 5.

Brendan,

Unfortunately, you need a good amount of crap. Such as the proper clothing(jacket, pants, gloves, hat, goggles, long underwear, and maybe as far as a helmet) You may not need some of this stuff your first time out, depending on weather. But, you will if you plan to keep it up. Get's expensive!

Yeah Brendan - I have to agree with you there. Keep saving and buy a race car one day - I'll see you on the track (or better yet, rally stage) where we all belong.
