Default 2008 STI - Question on Foglights...

I have noticed something really odd about the foglights. They do not come on with the parking/running lights. I have to turn on the low beams before they will illuminate. Every other car I have owned, the foglights could be turned on with out having to turn on the low beams. Thoughts?

This is normal, every import i have owned runs their fog lights this way.
Even my new 09 WRX. The idea is that if weather is bad or if extra light is needed... you will be running you headlights anyways.

Also, your fog lights will shut off while your high beams are on.

Yea I knew this already. My mindset was that if you really need to use your fog lights, then you should be able to run them, alone, without your lowbeams.
