Default Wondering If the FOCAL 165CA1 will fit in an 06 WRX with adapter rings

I have been reading through all the threads of note and searching but cant seem to find if anyone has had luck fitting the Focal 165ca1 in their front doors with an adapter ring. Any help or info on these speakers would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Dan

i had 165k1s in my rs and in a buddy's 03 wagon. They fit with 2 adapter rings and some trimming of the door card, but it was a pain in the ass. is the ca1 less deep than the k1?

Here is the link to their spec sheet I believe they are only like 2.5 - 2.6" deep.

I had the Polyglass installed in my 02 doors. I simply made spacers out of 3/4" MDF. The Kartboy spacers may also work. I did have to remove the rubber boot from the magnet for the window to roll down though.
