Default Lightwerkz Digital HID Vs OEM STi HID

I ordered a HID kit from lightwerkz (got here really fast! thanks Caesar!) when i thought my ballast was bad after forgetting to connect the ground wire on the driver side. Turns out the fuse was blown and the fuses i found in my dads car were blown only after i ordered the lights.

Now my question is, is there any difference in light output between digital HID's than stock HID's?

The OEM stuff will probably be slightly brighter. The difference there is mainly from the bulbs. The biggest difference between the two is going to be reliability. The OEM stuff will most likely outlast the cheapo kits two or three fold. Aftermarket stuff just isn't built to the standards of OEM components. There is little quality control and they aren't tested to meet safety and reliability standards. The lightwerkz stuff is usually on the upper end of the crappiness spectrum but still not as good as OEM.

That says nothing about its quality. It simply says that it conforms to the laws of the European Union to be sold within those countries. Without that sticker it couldn't be sold in the EU. For instance it is illegal to use Cadmium in EU countries in electronic devices. If the ballasts had cadmium in them they would not be able to pass CE standards. The products that receive it are usually self certified by the manufacturer. I bought a $2 flashlight that had a CE sticker on it. It broke the second time I used it. "CE" means pretty much nothing other than your kids won't grow a third arm after touching it.

No, there's lots of stuff with CE logos here in the US. But I can tell you that UL listings are stick, more than ETL listed lighting

Dood, stop plugging your kit, NO ONE CARES. I can't believe a mod hasn't whipped you yet for linking to products to buy. I think someone is just trying to inflate their post count

Thanks! I guess I'll just use the lightwerkz as a back up.
