Which car do you own? I remember a blue 4 door and a white type R (2dr) that lived near him. There was a silver 4 dr that was on the main wide ass street.

You should test drive it when I get back.. It pretty quick... A 2004 GDB STI inside my 1999 gc8 STI RA... The only one like it on island so far. Shortly after I get back, there will be a B4 with a 2003 GDB STI swap!

Btw, your car looks pretty good also! You should go up for top Scooby #31...

Take 5 pictures of your car and write a story how you got your car and what you do in the military.

Out of curiosity, what would be the benefits to such a swap? Why not do it vice versa?

It's not for me, I already did a swap like it into my gc8... A friend of mine wants to do it o his B4 and be unique from the rest of them!

Everything is going to get done, EJ207 STI, 6spd, brembos, GDB STI, I might try to get him to get the blue carpet... its going to be a nice B4 when its done!I'm interest in how it's going to turn out when we get it done... We will have updated progress pictures like I did my swap!

See my swap: http://www.type-ra.com/subaru-forum/...-1000-a-3.html

Ray!!!

The car is running great! I have seen it in a month because of this deployment. When I get back, new tires, brake pads and rotors, possibly new coilovers, and tactrix cable for open source tuning. That's about it!

How's you gc8 build? I haven't heard anything about it since the last time you posted about it over a year ago.

Yeah just figured I'd ask since a few of you guys got your cars from the mainland... They don't seem legit by any means but they have a really nice v5 that I want to check out, long expensive ride to go see it though meh.

It's at the point where the car is driveable and trackable, but I'm not happy with it. So I bought a Bug-eye rolling chassis with a spun bearing which I'm going to fix so I can daily it/sell it and get the GC8 100%. Where are you deployed to? You know I'm back on ZY?

I'm in Bagram right now, but I'm going to be back soon!

Yeah, I seen you on ZY. You got any progress pictures of the gc8?

When I get back... I have a couple projects I am going to work on... GDB STI swap into a B4, hydraulic ebrake in my car, possible GDB STI swap into another type R STI gc8. The type R already has a full 06 STI drive train... The dude is looking for a GDB harness and ecu. He already has a ver 7 STI motor without a turbo sitting in his closet. The B4 should have everything, he just needs to send both harness to Iwire.
