Post searching for a few good welders....

Okay, so, "theoretically", if I were to look in my neighbor's garbage one day and find a 6-point Sparco roll cage... who around New England can be trusted to install it? I mean weld-in, not bolt-in - I just don't trust them. So, some of you must know draggers at NER who have cages - who installed them?

-Edwin

ps: we're talking a timeframe of months and months here, guys. don't look for a RS with a rollcage in it around boston anytime soon.

Edwin,

The guy I work with at work has a roll cage in his M3. I can ask, but I won't be in the office till tomorrow.

There's a place down here in southeastern CT called Ted's Welding. The guys all used to work at EB welding submarines together, so they know how to weld. I'm pretty sure they do cars to run at the little Waterford Speedbowl oval around her. I had them weld in the subframe connectors on the Mustang - very clean welds, excellent job.

I plan to take the Mustang's rollbar to these guys in the next month or so.

Oh yeah, duh! I forgot about VT Sportscar. As much as I love Rallispec, they're just too far away. But I'll have to keep VTcar in mind.

VT Sportscar is a little pricey for cages. I will found out the name of the place Billy had do the one in his Type-R. Great quality.
